1/7/2014 Qwined Technical Editor 2014 Released

The Stable Release Build of Qwined Multilingual Technical Editor 2014 has been released. This build is release for General Availability. This release is fully compliant with Windows 8.1 (Intel) and Windows Server 2012 R2.

12/16/2013 Qwined 2014 Release Candidate 1

8/14/2013 Qwined 2014 Beta 1

The Beta Build 1 of Qwined Multilingual Technical Editor 2014 has been released. This build is fully compliant with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. Preliminary support is for Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 is provided.

The Alpha Builds of Qwined Multilingual Technical Editor 2014 have been started. Platform compatibility fixes targeting for the new version of Visual Studio and the Microsoft operating systems.

The Stable Build of Qwined Multilingual Technical Editor 2013 has been released. This is a Limited Release and available upon request only. We are already working on a new major release for 2014.

Qwined SQL command line has now preliminary support for Microsoft SQL Azure and full support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.

8/21/2010 Windows XP End of Life

Qwined team is focusing to the latest Windows operating systems. The older versions, such as Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server will no longer be supported. The Qwined Classic (2008) will remain for the older systems.

4/10/2010 Final switching to VS2010

Qwined team has now completely switched to Visual Studio 2010. The older versions of the development environment are no longer supported.

7/16/2009 Office 2007 GUI

The first Technology Preview with a totally rewritten Office 2007 style GUI is now available for partner evaluations.

6/6/2009 Qwined switches to InstallAware

Qwined team has started to port the setup system from InstallShield to InstallAware. The new setup system will not be compatible with previous releases.

4/13/2009 Qwined moves to VS2010

Qwined team has started to port the source code to the early versions of Visual Studio 2010. Substantial restructuring of the code base has been started at the same time.

2/14/2008 Qwined 2008 Goes Alpha

The first Alpha Technology Preview Builds of Qwined Multilingual Technical Editor have been made available to technology partners. Plenty of new features are included, such as Windows Search integration, email support, enhanced PDF support, preview functionality, etc.

2/2/2008 Qwined Ported to Microsoft Visual Studio 2008

Qwined development team has ported the whole source code to the latest Microsoft technology. 32-bit and 64-bit versions are now available as development versions. Even though Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 are still supported, the main target is now in Microsoft Windows Vista (32/64-bit) and 64-bit Microsoft Windows Server 2008.
